Your privacy is important to us!

 

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Architects of Quality ("Company", “we”, “us”, “our”) may collect, use, and share your Personal Information ("PI"), and provides information regarding your data privacy rights. This Privacy Policy applies to all Architects of Quality users – including unregistered visitors and registered users (collectively, “Visitors”, “Users”, “you”, “your”) of our website (www.architectsofquality.com and any of its subdomains, the “website”), and to all Architect of Quality services (collectively, “Services”).

 

This Privacy Policy is not intended to override, nullify, cancel, or revise the terms of any contract you have with us. This Privacy Policy is not intended to serve as legal advice in this capacity, and is not intended to override any rights you may have under applicable data privacy laws.

 

​In order to provide you with our Services, we must collect PI relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We collect PI you provide us, from your use of the Services, and from other sources. Here are the types of PI we collect about you:

Information we collect when you use our Services. When you visit, download, and/or use any of our Services, we may collect aggregated usage PI, such as Visitors’ and Users’ browsing history, behavior, and activity on the Services platform, as well as non-identifying PI regarding your device, operating system, internet browser, browser type, access times, referring websites, domain names, Internet Protocol (IP) address, location, and related information. We and our Website platform use cookies and other similar technologies (“Cookies”) in order for us to provide our Service and ensure that it performs properly, to analyze our performance and marketing activities, and to personalize your experience.

Please note that most browsers allow you to manage Cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. You may set most browsers to notify you if you receive a Cookie, or you may choose to have your browser block Cookies.

 

Information you provide us. When you use, request, or purchase our Services and/or when you contact us directly via any communication channel (e.g., form submissions, email, phone, in-person), you may provide us your PI (e.g., your name, your company name, email address, phone number, physical address, payment information) inclusive of supporting documentation (e.g., identification credentials, driver’s license, passport, or official company registration documents). Users are responsible for the information they provide, including its truthfulness and accuracy.

 

How we use your information. The company uses and shares your PI with Company staff in order to provide you with information related to the Services you use, request, or purchase, to perform or otherwise carry-out such Services, to fulfill the Company's obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered between you and us – including billing and collections, to provide you with notices about your account, to notify you about changes to our Website, this Policy and/or our Services, to provide information about other Services available from the Company, and/or for the development of new Services. We may also the PI you provide for any other purpose with your consent

 

We may also process your PI for in order to improve the overall quality and experience of our Services, to customize information the Company delivers to you, and to count, track, and aggregate your activity into our analysis of general traffic flows (e.g., Users’ activity and number of Visitor) on our website. The Company may keep track of Company website pages users visit in order to assess product/service offerings, such as which products/services are the most popular. The data may be used to deliver customized content to clients based on their traffic history on the Company website.

 

We may use your PI to send you promotional content and messages by email, text messages, notifications from our website, marketing calls, and similar forms of communication from the Company or affiliates acting on our behalf. If you do not wish to receive such promotional messages or calls, you may notify us at privacy@architectsofquality.com or follow the “unsubscribe” or STOP instructions contained within the promotional communications you receive.

We may also share your personal information with third-party service providers which process your information on our behalf; however, such service providers will be contractually bound to keep your personal data confidential and appropriately secure. We will be permitted to share your personal information with government authorities and law enforcement, if we are required to do so by law. Other than as stated above, we will always ask your approval before providing your personal information to anyone else.

 

The Company does not sell, rent, or lease its client lists to third parties. The Company may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (name, email) may be shared with the third party. The Company may, from time to time, share your personal data with third parties for the purposes of performing statistical analysis, sending you email or postal mail, providing customer support, or arranging for delivery of product/service. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the Company, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

 

If required to do so by law, or in the good faith believe that such action is necessary, the Company may disclose your personal information, without notice, to:

  1. Confirm the edicts of the law or comply with legal processes served on the Company or the website

  2. Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company

  3. Act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Company, or the public.

​We will retain your information as needed to fulfill legitimate business purposes in accordance with our internal retention policy and applicable laws and regulations. If you use or purchase Services from us, we may keep your PI until you request that it be deleted.

 

Opt-Out of Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties. In connection with any PI, we may disclose to a third party for a business purpose, you have the right to know the categories of personal information that we disclosed about you for a business purpose. You have the right under the CCPA and CPRA and certain other privacy and data protection laws, as applicable, to opt-out of the disclosure of your personal information. If you exercise your right to opt-out of the disclosure of your personal information, we will refrain from disclosing your personal information, unless you subsequently provide express authorization for the disclosure of your personal information. To opt-out of the disclosure of your personal information, follow the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link on our website or contact us at privacy@architectsofquality.com.

​Right to Deletion. Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will: Delete your personal information from our records; and direct our affiliate third party providers to delete your personal information from their records. Please note that we may not be able to comply with all requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to: complete the transactions for which the PI was collected, fulfil the terms of a contract or warranty, comply with law or law enforcement actions, provide Services requested by you or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise execute to a contract between you and us, detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, prosecute those responsible for that activity, debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality of our Services, exercise free speech, exercise another right provided for by law, comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act, engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when our deletion of the information is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the outcome of such research, provided we have obtained your informed consent, enable solely internal uses that are reasonably alighted with your expectations based on your relationship with us, comply with an existing legal obligation, or otherwise use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.

You have the right to request that we delete PI that we collect, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive your request and verify your identity, we will delete, and/or direct our service providers to delete, your Personal Information from our records, unless an exception applies. When we rely on your consent for processing of your PI, you can withdraw your consent at any time, and such withdrawal will take effect from thereon.

We will compare the information you submit to us with the information we have in our records to ensure your request meets the definition of “verifiable consumer request” under the California Privacy Laws. We will then respond to your request in accordance with the requirements. Disclosures provided will generally be limited to include the most recent twelve (12) month period preceding the receipt and verification of the request. If applicable, responses to requests may explain the reasons we cannot comply with your request. We strive to respond to verified requests within a reasonable amount of time (e.g., within 90 days). If we anticipate significant delays in fulfilment of a verified request, we may inform you of the reason for the delay and the timeframe for fulfillment.

 

Before fulfilling your request, we may ask you for additional information in order to confirm your identity and for security purposes. We reserve the right to charge a fee, where permitted by law, such as if your request is unfounded, repetitive, or excessive. If applicable, we will inform you of why we made that decision and provide a cost estimate before fulfilling the request.

 

Personal Information of minors. Our Services are not aimed at children or minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you have not reached the age limit, do not use our Services and do not provide us with your personal information.

 

If you are resident in California and are under 18 years of age and wish to erase publicly available content, please contact us at privacy@architectsofquality.com. If you are a parent of a child below the age limit and you learn that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@architectsofquality.com to exercise your data privacy rights.

 

California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act. If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"):

  • Right to Know. You may request details on what personal data we collect, use, and share.

  • Right to Delete. You can request deletion of personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.

  • Right to Opt-Out. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for advertising

  • Right to non-discriminate. The Company will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. 

  • Right to Correct. You may request corrections to inaccurate personal information.

  • Right to Limit Data Use. You may limit the use of sensitive personal information.

Changes to This Statement. We reserve the right to change this Policy from time to time, such as: when there are changes in our Services, changes in our Privacy Policy, or changes in the law. When changes to our Privacy Policy are significant, we will inform you via appropriate communication channels (e.g., email) and/or make the information available on our website. Your continued use of the Company website and/or services available after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgement of the modified Privacy Policy, and agreement to abide and be bound by our Privacy Policy.​
